Busy Jana

Multitasking, it's what I love to do. I am a proactive person. To be always on the go is my way of life. I enjoy pressures and busy schedules. I just love it when I'm busy doing a lot of things. Why? I just don't know why.

Some people say I'm an Obsessive Compulsive person because I deal with things seriously. I am always equipped with multiple back-up plans. Even the smallest details are important to me. Also, I don't do things right away. I always weigh things out before making a decision. I am also time coordinated because I do things as scheduled. I don't like messing up with my shcedule it ruins my life.

I guess this side of me is my strenght and weakness at the same time. Strenght because I get to accomplish things as planned. Weakness because I expect other people to be like me, which is not the case.

This is me. What can I do?

UPLB

Busy schedule, multitasking, exhausting activities, brainracking lessons... Just bring it on! I am immuned with all of these.

I believe that UPLB has trained its students well enough. UPLB students were not just tarined academically wise but also personality wise. The university offers its students good quality of eduaction. Yet, the university never failed to train the students practice their skills and talents. Multiple intelligence is really applied in UPLB.

It is very challenging to be in UPLB. There are a lot of venues for learning cademically and otherwise. But its for the students to weigh things out. The university never spoonfeed its students. We are tarined to think for ourselves. With this, I know we will surivive like a wild orchid.

Lambdan Month

UPLB Delta Lambda Sigma '57 celebrates its 51st anniversary. In line with this, we have our month long celebration with the theme "Pursuing the life and spark of true womanhood through time and tide".

On our first week, we had an exhibit featuring the alumni sisses. On our second week, we had a free film showing at LB Square. The film was The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. On the third week, we had our 23rd Trivial Pursuit, our annual general information quiz contest. 59 teams participated. We also celebrated our anniversary with our alumni sisses during our alumni homecoming. On our last week, we will be having our Open Tambayan. We would be serving a lot of sumptuous foods and Libreng Sakay too. And lastly, we would have our thanksgiving mass.

This is a month full of prolific activities. This is Lambdan Month.

The BIG Event

It's been quite a long time since I last post. It's been a busy month for me. I am currently busy with a lot of things. As a senior college student, I am busy with my academic units. I am organizing a big event for our department. This event is in line with the ecological camp our class is organizing.

The event is an eco-party named "Together we can make a BIG difference: stepping up against climate change". This eco-party is open to all. The party is stored of a lot of fun activities yet informative ones. The party is inclusive of a free film showing of "Signos", a documentary about climate change. And of course, a party won't be a party without music. There would be band performances and dance numbers. Our guests are form UPLB Street Jazz, Wyre Underground and UP Jammaers' Club. This would be a night of fun and learning at the same time.

Jana's Tired!

I am tired.

It's been a tring day...week...month....semester for me.

I'm into a lot of things now. Good thing I have time for blogging now.

I miss posting blogs. I hope I could go back to my normal pace.

I hope to enjoy this exhausting lifestyle.

Consumer Rights

Today, is a typical day for me. Since it's a weekday, I attended classes. I attended my Consumer Education class early this morning. Honestly, I usually get bored in this class. But today is a different day. I was interested in our subject matter today.

We discussed about Consumer Act of the Philippines. We talked about the 8 rights of consumers. I have learned that consumers has right to safety, to safe and healthy environment, to redress, to right information and the like.

I have also learned that for every right, there is an equaivalent responsibilty. We, as consumers, have are own part to protect our own rights.

This is something we should all be aware of.

Faulty Card!

I am currently pissed off. I applied for a visa card in a bank. They told me to wait for three weeks before I could get my card.

On the third week, I called them to check if my card is already available. Unfortunately, it was not yet available. Then, I called them again on that same week. Again, it was not yet available. They told me to call them again. And so I did call them on the 4th week. The scenario was the same. On the 5th week, the same scneario happened.

On the 6th week, I called them up again. They told me that it was not available again. I got extremely mad. And so I confronted them. They told me that there was an error on my card. I didn't understand what that error was. Then I asked them when could I get my card. They told me to wait amother three weeks. I got even madder. My tone of voice shifted. I found myself screaming. I was really really pissed off. And so I told them that I cannot wait for another three weeks. I need that card on that week. I warned them that if they'll not be able to give my card on that week...I'll really get mad.

And so I waited. But I called them on the next week. And boom! On my surprise, I already have my card.

And so i picked up my card. I confirmed my PIN. Then I registred it on my paypal account. But no! It was denied by the bank. What?! That's why I'm pissed off again. I am mad at the moment. I badly need the card ASAP.

25 months of Love..

Just a thought...

Today's our 25th monthsary..

it's been 25 months and I still look forward to more months and years with him.

I still get high when I see him looking at me.

I still have bliss upon hearing him say my name.

I still blush when he tells me I'm beautiful.

I still love him so much.

And I know...

..I'll be loving him for the rest of my life...

An Enjoyable Trip

Last Saturday, I went on a fieldtrip with my classmates in NASC8. We went to Cavite. We first dropped by at Mushroom Burger in Tagaytay City. I love their original recipe. They don't taste like mushroom. It's like meat.

Then we went to Calaruega to see their landscape. Their garden's so beautiful. It's magnificent. They have a huge garden. I also love their indoor landscape. It has a pond. The fishes are so cute. I also like their facilities like their chapel, function hall, cottages, rooms and dormitories. They can accomodate 200 persons at a time. It's a perfect place for wedding and other similar events. They also cater to outdoor activities like team building activities.

Then we went to Mahogany market. They sell a lot of plants and indigeneous products there like bananas and passion fruit.

After that, we went to Gourmet. We were able to roam around their farm. We saw their garden of herbs like rosemary, basil, parsley, pesto and the like. And they have lots of lettuce. Yummy.

I enjoyed this trip so much. I love the magnificent view of Tagaytay City. I also can't get enough of their cold breeze. I want to have a house of my own at Tagaytay. Laughs.
